Young Associate 2020-22 – OECD Development Co-operation Report [DCD], Paris, France 387 views

The OECD is a global economic forum working with 36 Member countries and more than 100 emerging and developing economies to make better policies for better lives. Our mission is to promote policies that will improve the economic and social well-being of people around the world. The Organisation provides a unique forum in which governments work together to share experiences on what drives economic, social and environmental change, seeking solutions to common problems.

The OECD’s Development Co-operation Report (DCR) looks at how development co-operation policy, financing and partnerships take on today%27s most urgent global priorities, from the rising threat of climate change, rising inequalities, to the flagging response to the Sustainable Development Goals and Agenda 2030. The Young Associate will contribute to a report that provides OECD members with evidence, analysis and case studies that will help them to reinvigorate public and political debates at home about global development challenges and build momentum for the global solutions and reforms demanded by today%27s challenges.

The Development Co-operation Directorate (DCD) supports the Development Assistance Committee (DAC) to carry out its mandate to help increase financing for development and to improve the quality and effectiveness of development co-operation. Through inclusive partnerships for development, we help ensure better lives for people in the developing world by understanding development finance, strengthening aid delivery, improving development policy, and building partnerships for development.
