This posting concerns a short-time assignment of 60 days (30 days allocated for studies and 30 days for developing technical training materials) in a freelance capacity or as consultancy company in order to conduct:

• A study to identify agriculture based potential value chains in the respective provinces, the unconditional pre-conditions to-be-in place per value chain, local, regional and (inter)national markets (market analysis),
• Development of technical training materials
• Desk review of existing training guidelines and manuals in order to develope technical training materials required under this assignment mentioned above.

The consultancy period is from 2nd January 2020 and ends by 2nd March 2020

Your qualifications will include:

To be considered for this position you must submit the following documents or give evidence of the following criteria

• The lead consultant must possess minimum a Master degree in agribusiness, or Business Admin- istration
• Proven experience in economic empowerment studies with emphasizes on the position of women, value chain studies and market analysis
• Experience in developing training manuals/guidelines and tools
• Professional experience in statistics and data analysis
• Knowledge of the socio-economic and business development in the context of Afghanistan with a specific focus on the position of women is desired.
• Excellent command of English, spoken and written
