Background

The position is assigned to the ‘Support to strengthening inclusiveness of electoral processes in 2020 parliamentary and local council elections’ Extra-Budgetary Project in OSCE Programme Office in Bishkek. Please note that this post is extra-budgetary (ExB) funded and initial appointment is for one year, subject to possible extension.

Tasks and Responsibilities

Maintaining general and essential document files; coordinating the flow/distribution of the documentation within the ExB Project management, state partners and implementing partners; Communicating with FAU on the issues related to various supplies required for the implementation of the ExB project; Organizing meetings and visits within the project activities with state partners, implementing partners and international organizations; Organizing venues and logistics for the project events and activities; Maintaining and ensuring confidentiality and security of all records and archive and sensitive materials; and of all ExB project documents; Assisting Senior Programme Assistants in reviewing relevant narrative and financial reports from Implementing Partners and drafting inputs for monthly activity and M& E reports; Performs other duties as required.

Necessary Qualifications

  • Secondary education supplemented by formal or significant formal training in office administration;
  • At least 3 years of work experience in an office/administrative or mission environment with office work;
  • Computer literate with practical experience with Microsoft packages;
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills in English, Russian and Kyrgyz language.

Remuneration Package

Monthly remuneration, subject to social security deductions is 615.41 Euro/month. Social benefits will include OSCE participation in the Cigna medical insurance scheme and the OSCE Provident Fund.

Please note that appointments are normally made at step 1 of the applicable OSCE salary scale.
