Here’s where you come in:

As Zonal Finance Manager- Greater Bahr Al Ghazar (GBZ), you will manage and coordinate financial teams and functions at field level covering the Zone while ensuring finance and organization strategic objectives are achieved. This will involve grant budgeting and budgetary controls; managing accounting operations which include business processes and solutions, reporting, support office monitoring and build capacity to both finance, non-finance and sub-grantees /Partners. You will also ensure efficient and effective financial risk control procedures where risks are identified, prioritized, monitored, and mitigated.

Requirements include:

• Bachelor Degree in Business related subject, Accounting or Economics.
• Professional Accounting with CPA /ACCA at least part.
• SUN6 knowledge required.
• Experience: 1-3 yrs in Manager level or equivalent and demonstrate ability in supervision.
• Experience in managing major donor funds.
• Working knowledge of Grants operations, finance services and practices is an added advantage.
• Good planning and organizational skills.
• Ability to maintain effective working relationships with all levels of staff and public.
• Effective in written and verbal communication in English.
• The position requires ability and willingness to travel domestically (field locations).
